Os ocidentais aderiram completamente as chamadas Artes Marciais, como o Kung Fu da China, o Karat\u00ea e o jud\u00f4 do Jap\u00e3o, o Taekwondo e o Hapkido da Cor\u00e9ia e a capoeira do Brasil. Nos tempos primitivos, n\u00e3o importa onde vivessem, os homens tinham que desenvolver t\u00e9cnicas pessoais de luta para que obtivessem o alimento e para se defenderem contra os inimigos, inclusive animais selvagens. Tinham que inventar armas de forma efetiva \u00e0 defesa e de facilitar a subsist\u00eancia. Mesmo ap\u00f3s a inven\u00e7\u00e3o das armas, o homem nunca deixou de promover o desenvolvimento do corpo e da mente, atrav\u00e9s da pr\u00e1tica de diversas modalidades esportivas ou marciais, especialmente na forma de ritos religiosos. O Taekwondo (pronuncia-se Te quondo ), cuja tradu\u00e7\u00e3o significa a arte de usar os p\u00e9s e as m\u00e3os na luta (tradu\u00e7\u00e3o literal: Caminho dos p\u00e9s e das m\u00e3os ), surgiu na Cor\u00e9ia h\u00e1 aproximadamente 2000 anos atr\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>Fonte: www.tkdgaucho.com.br<\/p>\n<p><strong>GR\u00c3O &#8211;
